An Emphatic Success Story

The basis for AVRO-Ex and what sets it apart from other trade shows featuring vehicle recovery around the world is the tremendous social aspect; it was clearly evident over the three days of AVRO-Ex Dublin 2007.

Amongst the many kind and complimentary responses to this year’s event both during and post AVRO-Ex was one visitor heard to comment late Saturday morning “I have to say I have been to many trade shows in my life, this is my first visit to AVRO-Ex and the atmosphere here is quite unique with such a strong social, feel good factor running through it. After only 2 hours of being here I can guarantee that we will be having a strong presence at AVRO-Ex 2008, it’s a shame we couldn’t be here this year."
 
The gentleman concerned represents a very large manufacturing and distribution organisation based in the UK who will be exhibiting at AVRO-Ex next year for the very first time, one of many new faces that are recognising the value of opportunities associated with attending the annual AVRO-Ex Roadshow.

Reports from exhibitors this year indicate interest has been high and sales generally brisk. The weather conditions were ideal for both exhibitors and visitors alike, allowing the various other activities to go unimpeded with dancing, singing, face painting, comedy show, displays and outdoor refreshments all enjoyed without disruption.

The show was well organised, there was something for everyone and the evening entertainment was well received with a particular mention for Celtic Rhythm who once again received rapturous applause for their well co-ordinated traditional dance performance from the nearly 500 strong audience.

Next year’s venue has not yet been announced but AVRO-Ex Roadshow now has the formula to produce what visitors want from a show of this type on a regular basis.

SENSATIONAL PRIZE for AVRO-Ex 2007 won by Ray O'Brien Motors

The First Prize in the AVRO-Ex 2007 Roadshow "Super Raffle" went to Ray O'Brien Motors of Newhall, Newbridge, County Kildare in the Republic of Ireland. A delighted Mr Richard O' Sullivan of Ray O'Brien Motors is pictured below being presented with the keys to their brand new Citroen Relay by Eilis Kelly of Kelly Recovery. 

The Citroen with a T35 aluminium slide back body was only available as a result of the fabulous and most gracious sponsorship provided by Boniface Engineer, KFG Ltd, Derek Beahan Ltd and M8 Recovery
