The Aims of the Association Of Vehicle Recovery Operators 2007:

1/. Continue to provide thorough, competent inspections at competitive rates by engaging the services of Recovery Industry Engineering Standards (RIES).
 
2/. Provide assistance to members on legal, employment and business matters.
 
3/. Provide additional business opportunities for our members.
 
4/. Maintain a competitive insurance market place for members.
 
5/. Provide guidance on new government legislation.
 
6/. Pursue the ideal of better recovery vehicle conspicuity to create a safer work place for all recovery operatives.
          
7/. Drive for a total review of the Statutory Charge document for vehicle removal, storage and disposal in the first half of the year.
 
8/. To continue co-operation with the Highways Agency to improve vehicle breakdown/recovery schemes for professional recovery operators.
 
9/.  Increase AVRO membership.
 
10/. Increase the range of benefits to members.
